trouble with the instant replay machine

Hello, my name is Marty Rimpau, and one of the things I love to do on the internet is to listen to radio stations while reading e-mail, most of the time, just laying on my bed. One of the stations I listen to is from San Jose California, a college station entitled ksjs where every Friday, from ten A M till two pm, they have a program called Friday Flashbacks with hoast Dennis Terry, who is also blind like myself. About a year and a half ago, and occasionally today, he has trouble with his instant replay machine, the machine where the commercials are stored for the station, more like promotions for various shows, and what not, since they are a non-commercial radio station. It seemed that sometimes, the promotions wouldn't play, so Denny would give the machine button a hard press, but nothing would happen, and then he would give it a firm press, and nothing would happen, so he and his partner, Ross, accidently came upon the combination of not just a hard press, and not just a firm press, but a hard firm press. When Denny would jokingly say that it was time to give the machine a hard firm press, when a custom made jingle for the show would come up, the jingle would start, stop, and start again, and because it was digital, it would go den dennis terry, because that was the start of the jingle.

Well, this is for the basic html class, so I hope I'm doing this right. I'd also like to thank Jeff from hooked on the net for providing me, and others with this course, but I'd also like to thank my wonderkin of Windows, Curtis Delzer in Sacramento, whos' been ever patient with a person who, as far as computers is concerned, is easily caused to flippency, and fits of curse words, even gangster rapp type expressions that won't be repeated here, directed at the computer. I also want to thank shen for helping me out in the very beginning when I was using eudora 3.0632 and his friend, and nice lady, Marlo. These were people that helped me out when I was told that I shouldn't have e-mail, or do any on line things until I understood windows, and my screen reader window-eyes but who wants to learn how to define a constant with in a hyper active floating window just so he can listen to A C B radio? My friend, Bill, in Philidelphia just kept urging me on, and saying don't listen to those people when they would tell me this, but looking back, I think I probably would have waited a month, and at least gotten a firmer grasp of windows concepts before attempting to go on line. Also, a thank you, to my teacher at the east bay center for the blind, Connie Skeen. I didn't stay there at the east bay center for the blind for very long, but I was introduced to several windows concepts that faded, but were re-introduced later on more quickly because of earlier exposure. I hope this web page turns out o k, and thank you for reading it, and visiting this test site. the strange but mostly true story of laurel canyon and the birth of the hippie generation
