Is this the person listed in the 1860 census transcript as J.A. Rich age 51? Children's names match, must be: 1860 Davie County census, transcript page 65, household 516; Farmington district J.A. Rich 51 Rebeca C. 33 Sarah A. 16 Sam'l. C. 15 Joe P. 13 Isaac D. 10 Sarah A. Eaton 17 Isaac died in 1864. Rebecca Brock Rich was still living, but I don't see either her in the 1870 Davie County census. She remarried in 1873, to Alexander Jackson who was 20 years younger than she was. 1880 Davie County census household 163 in Farmington, transcsript page 82 Alexan Jackson 27 Rebecca 54 Isaac Rich 15 son Isaac age 15 doesn't work, however - Isaac N. Rich did have a son Isaac, but he was born about 1850, and appears in household 121 age 29, with his wife and three children. Rebecca's son with Isaac N.
