North Carolina School of Yoga is a beautiful community center dedicated to offering a diverse schedule of different levels of Yoga. Each level is designed to help you bring vigor and vitality back to the body and open the mind for higher understanding.  We have classes to suit beginning students, advanced students,those in rehabilitation or those who have been away from their practice and need some inspiration. 

We are located at 2012 ½ Fairview Rd in Raleigh, in the Five Points area, next to NOFO. We have a private parking lot, and ample street parking.  We offer a beautiful and comfortable Yoga center in which to practice.  Our sanctuary is an oasis for peace, evoking the presence of the great saints and sages, who have given us inspiration and a path to follow.  Our wish for everyone to feel comfortable in a peaceful, stress free, familial environment.

Teacher Training    

 

Founded in 2001, The North Carolina School of Yoga was created solely for the purpose of disseminating the ancient wisdom and spiritual science of Self-realization to those who wish to teach Yoga as well as to those who wish to  deepen their own practice and understanding of Yoga.  We offer the highest quality teacher training programs anywhere in the world, and have trained and certified thousands of students from across the United States, England, Prague, Italy, France, Australia, Liberia, Germany, Latvia, Israel, and Vietnam.   

We do not teach ‘styles’ of Yoga, but the authentic and pure teachings of classical Yoga, meditation and purification that serve as a stairway to bliss, promoting harmony within all layers of the body, mind and soul. Students who follow these practices achieve an integrated state of radiant health.  Using breathing techniques and intense, yet non-strenuous postures designed to twist, stretch, manipulate and gain control of the body, you will strengthen and tone the muscles, glands and internal organs.  Weight problems and disease are gradually brought to an end.  With regular practice, health and stamina are attained and Self-realization can easily follow.
