NOTE: While this page was originally written for Outlook Express version 5.x, if you are using Outlook Express 6.x, the dialogs will use a 6 instead of a 5. Other than that, all else is the same.
Start Outlook Express and from the File menu, select Import then select Messages.
A dialog box will appear, select Microsoft Outlook Express 5 (or 6 if you have version 6.x) and press the NEXT button.
A new dialog will appear, select Import mail from an OE5 store directory. Press the OK button to continue.
Another dialog will appear, here you can either type in or paste the path to the old message store folder for the removed Identity or press the Browse button to navigate to it.
If you select Browse, navigate to the folder and select it by clicking on it.
Once selected, the OK button will highlight and you can press it to continue.
Press the NEXT button to continue.
Here, you can leave it as the default to select all folders for import or to select individual folders for import. To select individual folders, click on the first one, then hold down the Control (CTRL) key and then click on the next one you wish to select.
Press the Finish button and it is complete.
