Daryl Watkins married April Stevens in Durham North Carolina on August 5th of this year. More than 15 DK bros attended the ceremony or participated in the wedding.

Daryl was born in Augusta, Georgia into a military family. His aspiration to become an engineer led him to attend Georgia Tech where he completed studies in Mechanical Engineering toward an undergraduate degree, obtained a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, and was a member of the 1990 National Championship football team. He later went back to school to obtain an MBA from UNC at Chapel Hill. Currently he is a consultant for IBM within their Integrated Supply Chain organization.

April was born and raised in Carlisle (Union), South Carolina. She graduated from The University of South Carolina in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and The University of North Carolina in 2002 with an Executive MBA. April is now a Regional Human Resources Manager & Consultant with The Burger King Corporation and she holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
