Coosa Breeze Farm has used a combination of genetic influences from Sasketchian, Canada, South Texas, Central Florida, and Missouri to blend with its Georgia and Alabama bloodlines. Its cattle are raised on irrigated pastures with the even breezes of the Coosa River producing a magnificant beef machine.A sample of Coosa Breeze cattle and their EBVs are shown.
Heifers:
CB Forced Breeze E27 is a combination of Pennsylvania and Florida breeding. With Enforcer 107 of Falkland Farms in her maternal bloodlines and Rock Hollow Farms of Alachua Florida bloodlines in her sire, she demonstrates the best traits of both. She is adapted to the hot southern regions but will thrive in the northern climates. She is a "front pasture heifer". Heifers of this quality are offered at $800.
Bulls:
CB Coosa's George P261 is a coming herd bull with a predicted yearling EPD of 41. His bloodlines are deep South. His sire is a Victor bull purchased at the Santa Fe River Ranch dispersal. "Santa Fe Sam" has served Coosa Breeze well. The dam is from a strong breeding program in the Georgia Polled Hereford Association. She carried "Nick the Butler" influence. Bulls of this quality are offered at $1000. They will give you beef that tastes right.
Herd Bull:
BTF (Bent Tree Farm) 499 1192 is a long bodied bull with Feltons 499 sire. His maternal side is strongly influenced by RWJones breeding. This bull has served Coosa Breeze well by adding length to our cattle. He combines a low birth weight EPD of 0.3 with a maternal milk of 23 and a yearling weight of 43. If easy calving with plenty of milk and good growth is what you want, he is ready and anxious to go to work for you. Offered at $1600.
Coosa Breeze is a certified herd. No delivery charges for purchases of three or more cattle in the south-eastern US. Farm is located 37 miles southeast of Birmingham, Alabama. It is just off Highway 280 and by the Coosa River.
