my favorite links

And what is a web site without a few links? I encourage you to visit these sites for both their entertainment and educational values.  If you would like to see your site listed here, please drop me an e-mail

Canoeing in the BWCAW?  Sawbill Canoe Outfitters are the best.  The Hansens have been a fixture at the end of the Sawbill Trail for years.

All things feathered in Minnesota.  MOU and its members have supported my research for the last 4 years.  They are dedicated to information and education pertaining to birds and are active in conservation efforts.

Do you want to know when the Space Station, or the Shuttle are passing overhead?  Check out J-track and J-Track 3-D (I have to have something to do when the owls aren't singing).

Maybe I am revealing too much personal information, but if you have read any of my journal entries, what's a bit more? This guy is amazing.  If you like a variety of music then JJ is for you. And....a new album and tour in the spring of 2003!

A great site that is informative and easy on the eyes and on your browser.

Located in the heart of Minnesota's Arrowhead region, Boreal Access has supported my research for 3 years.  Anything that is Minnesotan can be found on its website.

A great site that has a little bit of everything about owls.  Go down under for a visit.

Judy's comprehensive owl site. This woman loves owls!

While you sleep in September and October, northern saw-whet owls move under the stars and moon  towards the south.  Project Owlnet is attempting to make sense of the migration.

Gone but not forgotten. The best place I've ever worked.

An excellent site with scads of info, pictures, and sound.

Terry Brashear's site focusing on birds and the wonders of an slr camera.  Terry took the photos of the great gray owls that appear on my site.
