updated 11/18

The official cancellation press release.

Transitional Sightings/What's New page
So as not to skew the results on this page (number of mourners, in case I should decide to send this info to CBS (send your M&MS fan friends over to be counted)),
if anything new pops up (Scott-wise) in the meantime I'll post it on the Temporary Sightings/What's New page. So stay tuned to that page. It's the one I'll be updating.

Not Done Yet

Unfortuately I mean the web site and not the show...
As I hear it, lots of people are calling in and faxing to the numbers at CBS. CBS staffers are dutifully writing down our comments. So if you want those last four episodes (like I do), feel free to give it a shot.
In the meantime, I still have some sound files and screen shots left to put up, and some requests for same. So check back in a few days--when I'm done mourning, I will get them up. And let me know if there's any sounds/pix you want. I'll see if I can get someone to do them.
Two more things.
1. If you have comments about the show or the cancellation, that you would like the world to know, I'd be glad to post them here. Please e-mail me with the subject header: Comments for web site.
2. I'm pretty desperate for some "closure" on this show, so if anyone is into writing fan fiction to tie up the loose ends--I'll take it. Of course you will have to pretty nearly "create" a personality for Mr. Smith, but why not? He needed one anyway. Just try to stay in line with what we've learned so far, and if you have any questions, I have something of a FAQ file, courtesy of Michele, to help you out.
3. I do plan to clean up the original What's New page and try to dig up Maria's bio, since CBS dumped the whole Smith page.
That's it for now. I'll be back in a few days.
If anything new pops up (Scott-wise) in the meantime I'll post it here.

On a related topic, the Boston Herald (11/14) says the rest of the episodes will be pre-empted by skating and other things...
