What's New

Moving a web site is hard to do...
at least withoutall the latest fancy web tools. If you hit a link that takes you nowhere, check out this page for what to try next.

for December 21, 1997

New!
For those of you wishing to discuss the show, ask a question or find someone to share a copy of an episode you missed, please check out the Mr & Mrs Smith Message Board. NOTE!! Before you post--please do not use the "click here to reply" option: try to use the link that says "To post a new message, click here." It will put your post on the main board and save it from getting lost in the "reponses" board.
Pam

As we all know by now the Fate of Mr. & Mrs. Smith was decided, in early November. The last 4 unaired episodes were filmed, and it's true--due to the concerted efforts of a few dedicated fans, the tapes are out there.
If you would like spoilers or summaries, please e-mail me

A note to those requesting tapes of M&MS
I've had a large number of request for tapes of various episodes, and some for the whole series! Unfortunately I am just one person (albeit with 2 VCR's) and only so many hours in the day.
I regret that I am unable to make dupes at this time.
However, you may wish to post a request (or an offer, if you are really kind-hearted) on the Mr. & Mrs. Smith message board to see if anyone reading this site can help you out. I'm still getting messages from Scandinavia, where it seems to be a hit.

Since the show was cancelled, it seemed rather stupid to leave all those reviews, "positive asides to the ratings," and "save our show" posts up here. So they have been moved to the Support Page

New additions to the page--links to Nick and Jason's site.
And a note from me...
Thanks to the people--all 4 of you--who wrote me about the final four episodes. I'm continuing to track my leads on the last 4 eps (it took 16 of us to make it cost-effective to get three episodes dubbed), and for those of you who asked for new pix and episode summaries: well, my "staff" has disbanded, so it's going to be kind of tough...

Check out the sounds on the sounds page. Thanks Deb!

Sudey's report for 11/8

The CBS site had posted an avi /quicktime movie of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I'm sure it's gone by now. I think they wiped away every trace of the show, they day after they cancelled it.

Nancy's Page has a bunch of pix from the 4th and 5th episodes

Sudey counted at least 133 packages of M&Ms being sent to CBS. See the support page for details on our little caper. : )

Jenni's 11/01 summary and New! Ryan and Gord's MVP a new Male View Point on the show.
And thanks in public to Jenni (hope you can see this) for all the hard work--you must have to watch those eps over and over to get all those details. Gee, that must be tough! : )

New AOL Pricing
AOL has a great message board and a weekly chat about M&MS and now for those who have been missing out on that--AOL has a NEW PRICING structure. Same as many internet providers, starting Dec. 1, AOL will be $20 for unlimited hours. And you can use Winsoc k software (if you can figure out how to make it work with AOL), so if you've left AOL and want to come back... please join us in December! Chat info for AOL is below

Maria on Leno
From the Tonight Show guest list

on Monday, Oct. 7, we learned

DEADLINE for posting on CBS's page where you can e-mail support and congratulations to the stars of its new shows is long gone.
You can read other people's posts to Scott, but I'm probably the only one who saved the file, so, if you want me to post it, so if you want it posted email me. I have a ton of stuff on my hard drive that needs sorti ng out.

A note from the CBS web page on fan requests:
Please write to the show's production company to request autographs, ask specific questions (Where can I buy that shirt? What was the song in the closing credits?) or to send fan mail.

It's worth the trip.

Promotional Appearances---TV

Well, Scott pretty much didn't bother... being busy as a producer and all. Too bad, it might have helped...

Here's a list, off the top of my head, of what he did appear on...

Scott did a "live feed" from KCBS in L.A. on Monday, 10/28/96. It only aired in L.A.
(can someone send me a copy? please? as of 7/18/97--i never have seen it...)

Extra! (?)--A promo for Bachelor's baby done during shooting of the Kidnapping Episode

Maria apeared on the Tonight show. Details are above... unless i moved them to the bios page

If you need copies, please ask the fans on alt.tv.scott-bakula

A note from the fans to Scott--

We tried... : (

The TV Guide listings section has not been updated as a search on Bakula stopped turning up the M&MS eps. For current appearances, if any, please see the Sightings pag e

Scott on AOL

Scott was on AOL Thursday 9/19, but there is not much new to report, other than--

CBS has ordered 13 episodes. At the time of the chat they were filming episode number 6 with 7 to go, AND new episodes would probably have to be ordered by CBS by October so get those letters in.

Thanks to Scott, Maria, the Producers, and all the fun people in row 501!

Weekly Chats--The Real Time Variety--a.k.a. IRC etc.

For those of you on AOL, the chats will be on Wednesdays, at 10PM Eastern in the Remote Control chat room. KEYWORD: TV gossip
As of 7/18/97 this chat is still going on.

For those of you not on AOL, the IRC chats will begin on Sunday September 22 at 10:00 PM Eastern, on the Undernet, on channel #Bakula

IRC has been suspended due to severe net-lag. Please e-mail me if you want to try again.

The graphics on the Pix, Sounds, Articles, and Bios Page (in fact the whole site) are thanks to Susan.
The graphic on the Pix page is a bit large, but the whole page is graphical, so, if you're going there, you already know it's going to take a little while to get the page in. : ) Pix on the site are thanks to Amy and Sudey and Sue.

Scott on stuff...
