From: m.colchin@genie.com All - Now that the pilot has aired, we need to get to work. There's a 13-ep order, and the decision for more will come sometime in October. I think we need to write letter *NOW*. If you live in an area of less than 1million people, there probably isn't a Nielsen meter anywhere in your area, so the only way you can be counted is to do some action on your own. There are several things you can do: 1. WRITE TO CBS. Since they're making the ultimate decision, we need to let them know first that we're watching. If you're a female 18-49, you might try to work that in, in some subtle way, since that's the demographic advertisers drool over. Their address is: CBS-TV (or just CBS), 7800 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90069. 2. WRITE OR CALL YOUR LOCAL STATION. As stated above, if you're in an area without a Nielsen meter, this is a good way to let people know you're watching. Ask to speak to the programming director (or send to his/her attention). 3. WRITE TO SPONSORS. I taped everything, including commercials, so I could identify sponsors. I'll try to have a list of names and addresses pretty soon. In writing to sponsors, again, it's a good idea to subtly let them know if you're a female 18-49, because that's their primary target audience. More later. Margaret
