The Shakespeare Dilemma

by Colin Haynes

An investigation of the authenticity of the Bard's authorship along with others of his period who are suspected candidates for the position. The joy is holding it in your hands and feeling the copper slip case and the smooth leather covers. It is an accordion structure with five hand sewn sections containing information on the research done on each "candidate" for authorship of the Shakespeare writings.

The seventeen portraits were "painted" on a PC computer by Patrice Baldwin with a program called Fractal Painter. They animate from Shakespeare into the Earl of Oxford into Marlowe into Sir Francis Bacon and finally into Queen Elizabeth. 2 1/2 X 2 7/8 inches high and wide with 103 pages.

The book is on Curtis Flannel Text paper in Garamond type and printed on an HP DeskJet color printer. It was bound at Waterleaf Mill & Bindery by Patrice Baldwin. An edition of 100 signed and dated miniatures. $85.
