An
investigation of the authenticity of the Bard's authorship along
with others of his period who are suspected candidates for the
position. The joy is holding it in your hands and feeling the
copper slip case and the smooth leather covers. It is an
accordion structure with five hand sewn sections containing
information on the research done on each "candidate"
for authorship of the Shakespeare writings. The seventeen
portraits were "painted" on a PC computer by Patrice
Baldwin with a program called Fractal Painter. They animate from
Shakespeare into the Earl of Oxford into Marlowe into Sir Francis
Bacon and finally into Queen Elizabeth. 2 1/2 X 2 7/8 inches high
and wide with 103 pages. The book is on Curtis Flannel Text paper
in Garamond type and printed on an HP DeskJet color printer. It
was bound at Waterleaf Mill & Bindery by Patrice Baldwin. An
edition of 100 signed and dated miniatures. $85.
Inside the
eccentric drop-back cover you will find a title page printed on
acetate so you can look through to the actual azurite mineral
sample mounted inside the book. A circular tunnel going through
each page allows you to see the azurite as you read her story.
Fabric over boards, 2 3/4 X 2 15/16 inches, with 56 pages. The
calligraphy on the title page was done by Sandy Suggitt. The book

The
mirror-mylar inset in the cover represents a TV screen from which
spring all the annoying commercials you've ever heard. This
product is a bit mysterious, but the pitchman, "Big Butt
Bob", warms to his subject with typical product
representative's zeal. Printed paper over boards, 2 1/2 X 2 1/4
inches, 39 very funny pages. The illustrations were
"painted" on a PC computer by Pat Baldwin. The book was
printed on an HP DeskJet color printer in Garamond type on Curtis
