~~PUPPY DAYS AT DARCY FERRENTINO'S, PLATTSBURGH, NY ~~

The "Shakespeare Litter" was born on March 5, 2000. They are an outstanding litter of Tervlets, six girls and two boys. Here's an early photo of Juno (approx. 10 weeks old) showing off his lovely fawn coat, black mask and white-tipped toes!

Here's Juno with his seven littermates. Can you pick him out? (Don't worry, neither can we!) If we had to guess, we'd say he's the fourth one from the right...

On May 20, we made a marathon trip from Silver Spring, Maryland to Long Island, New York to pick up our new baby!
We decided to make the trip in one day, leaving at 3 am, and arriving in New York around 9 am
(thank goodness for Starbucks!) Naturally, it rained most of the way up and all the way home. Juno rode peacefully
in his crate and slept much of the way. We made a couple of stops but couldn't persuade puppy to pee -- he held it for
250 miles. Once we arrived home, he was happy to use the new facilities -- his very own back yard!

~~ HOME AT LAST ~~

Lying in one of my favorite spots (next to the family room couch) playing with one of my favorite toys (stuffed sheepskin dinosuaur). I killed the squeaky inside within a few days!

Here I am with Ashley -- she's never owned a dog before so I'll have to make sure to train her well ...

...And this is Shawna, who has only tossed the tennis ball 45 times so far this morning -- why is she sitting down and acting so tired, I wonder? C'mon, throw it again!
