Excel, Word

(and most other Windows compatible programs)

Works on the Mac, too (with the Command Key instead of Ctrl )

    Some useful (hopefully) mnemonics:

Ctrl + X = eXcise (it)[Cut]

Ctrl + C = Copy (it)

Ctrl + V = Paste (it) ___V___ there

Take a look at this portion of your keyboard.
  • With your right hand operating the mouse, designate (highlight) the entity you wish to do something to.
  • With your left pinky, hold down the Ctrl key.
  • With your left forefinger, depending on what you want to do to what you have designated, select X, C or V.

It's Fast. It's Effective. It's Productive.

Try it. You'll like it!
