REMNANTS, 1998 A Multi media collage installation of 3 super8 Projectors, 3 16MM projectors, 1 video projector, 2 Slide projectors, and 3 sound tracks (Narrative, Beat, and Ambient music) Developed from a three screen projection created in 1985 called "Family Jewels" the material utilizes out-takes from the film makers' ouvre and found footage. Video footage includes images taken from the fountains, churches and museums of Rome, Munich and Heidleberg.

AT THE HAMBURG OFFENER CANAL
Collaborators host and engineer a live cablecast, one of Hamburg's first public access television program events. The separation between control room and studio is omitted. Technicians, performers and announcers are one and the same. |
| Hi/Lo Tech Power To Tha' Peephole, 1994. Two live unedited cable casts as part of a multi- disciplined art activity, our second event at the Hamburg Offener Kanal (Open Channel) public access television station. Our intent was to create low budget live on the air interactivity with the viewers. An on-line call-in that would allow modem access to the studio whereby we could show images and audio live. In close collaboration with Hamburg media artist Hans-Christian Dany, who kept us abreast of current events and local issues that were germane to our themes: Identity, Nationality and Race. We were able to tape several on the street interviews which were mixed live into the broadcast. Again, in addition to the local footage, we brought along material from past performance documents, films, video work, excerpts from commercial television, etc. These are also mixed in. Peter's engineering, both planned and spontaneous is what gives the broadcast their structure and look. I got to be the on screen ham. In effect, what you see in the tapes is an electronic jam session organized by Peter, Hans Christian and me. -Jack Waters |

| A Korean mother tells the story of how her husband was harassed and publicly humiliated in a commuter train incident. The incident involved a misunderstanding over not having the proper train ticket. Transit police unnecessarily dragged and cuffed the man venting derogatory remarks and racial slurs at the couple in earshot of the other commuters. |  |

Other events included poster art on large public billboards, radio broadcasts, live performances,
installations in public metro station windows, and the Cheap Art Kiosk at the Messberg Station.
