Services

Cooper Creek PetCare Hospital strives to provide personalized care for its patients. Pets are members of the family and are treated as such! The majority of patients are dogs and cats; however birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rabbits, snakes, and iguanas are also welcome and have been treated by Dr. Holt-Dunn since she opened her practice. Referral cases requiring specialists are currently sent to either Tuskegee University or Auburn University Schools of Veterinary Medicine which are within an hour's drive away. Dr. Holt-Dunn sees patients by appointments so that adequate time is spent with her patients and clients (emergencies do have priority however).

Cooper Creek PetCare Hospital offers a broad range of services including preventative and medical care. Routine surgeries such as neutering (ovariohysterectomies or spays and castrations), tail docking, and declaws are done in addition to other soft tissue procedures. Routine dental services such as teeth cleaning, polishing, and extractions are offered. Boarding is also offered in addition to an After-Hour Drop-Off/Pick-Up Service for those clients unable to leave or pick up boarding pets during regular hours. High quality pet food is offered for sale. Prescription Diets are prescribed to assist in the treatment of medical conditions. Additional services include DNA sexing of birds, In-House lab for Blood Profiles, and Pet Insurance. Dr Holt-Dunn will be expanding on the services offered as her new practice develops. She is well on her way to owning a practice that is AAHA-certified (American Animal Hospital Association), a symbol of quality!
