SLIGO - Donna Mae Seybert of Rimersburg RD and Phillip Earl Bryant of Sligo RD 1 were united in marriage in a 7 p.m. ceremony April 14 in the Church of the Nazarene in Sligo.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seybert of Rimersburg RD. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bryant of Sligo RD 1.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Ronald Glaspy, pastor of the church.
Mrs. Audrey Gilbert, pianist, presented wedding selections and accompanied soloist, Craig Smith.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, was attired in a white nylon sheath with appliqued daisies over chantilly lace and wrist length sleeves. Her fingertip veil fell from a nylon crown. She carried a bouquet of roses and shasta daisies and carried out the wedding traditions.
Her maid of honor, Miss Linda Saylor of Rimersburg RD 1, wore a pink chantilly lace sheath with short sleeves and carried a bouquet of pink coral carnations.
Carl Nulph of New Bethlehem RD 4 served as best man.
A reception following the ceremony was held at the home of the bride;s parents. Serving as aides were: Mrs. Lenie Burns, Miss Ester Brown, Mrs. Carol Glaspy, Miss Nancy Morris, Mrs. Ruth Seybert and Mrs. Pearle Brown.
The bride chose a beige and white cotton checked dress with matching sash for their wedding trip to Niagara Falls. Her corsage was shasta daisies and roses.
The couple is making their home at Clarion RD 1.
The bride is a graduate of Union High School. Her husband graduated from Redbank Valley High School and has been employed by Larimer Trucking in Clarion.
