Lexie Anthony becomes bride of Randy Bryant

Vases of spring flowers graced the altar of the Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg for the April 7 wedding of Miss Lexie Anthony and Randy Bryant. The Rev. Robert Thornquist performed the double ring ceremony at 7:30 p.m.

Wedding music was presented by organist, Mrs. Valda Wolfe, and soloist Mrs. Jackie Hughes.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Anthony of Rimersburg and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bryant of RD 1 Sligo.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length white satin gown with a lace bodice.

The gown featured long puffed lace sleeves and a long train which formed a bustle for the reception.

Her elbow length veil flowed from a lace and pearl cluster headpiece. She carried a cascading bouquet of white spring flowers.

Miss Cindy Anthony, as her sister’s maid of honor, wore a blue and white taffeta gown with sheer puffed sleeves.

Bridesmaids, Janice Bryant, Judy Hook and Carolyn Anthony wore pink and white taffeta gowns styled like the maid of honor’s.

The attendants carried nosegays of spring flowers.

Donald McCauley accompanied the groom as best man and the guests were seated by Robert Troup, Phillip Bryant and Samuel Bryant. Dana Hook carried the rings.

Mrs. Anthony watched her daughter’s wedding wearing a turquoise dress and coat ensemble. Both mothers wore corsages of spring flowers.

Following the ceremony a reception was in St. Charles Parish Hall in New Bethlehem. Aides were Mrs. Mary Best, Miss Linda Crissman, Mrs. Karen Kriebel, Mrs. Carol McGuire, Debbie Ferrari and Paula Keister.

The New Mrs. Bryant is a 1972 graduate of Union High School. Her husband is employed by Agway in New Bethlehem.

The couple is residing in New Bethlehem.
