SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. LESTER HETRICK

Mrs. Margaret Hetrick, aged 22 years, wife of Lester W. Hetrick, of Distant, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 24, 1923 at the home of her mother, Mrs. Effie E. Eaker, of the East Side, with whom they were residing.

Deceased was born Nov. 8, 1901 in Frogtown and was a daughter of A. Boggs Eaker who died 5 years ago. On August 8, 1922 she married Lester W. Hetrick, of Distant. She graduated from New Bethlehem High School in the class of 1919 and taught two terms of school, at the Reed school and grade 2 at Distant. For seven years she was a clerk in Myers’ Underselling Store. She was a member of the M. E. church, the Lady Maccabees and a teacher in the M. E. Sunday School.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the M. E. church, the Rev. W. J. Baldwin officiating. Deceased leaves mother, husband, 2 brothers, Thomas P. Eaker, of Muncy, and William O Eaker, of New Bethlehem.
