STELLA STUCHEL

Mrs. Stella Mae Stuchel, 80, of 21 Charlotte Ave., died at 9:45am Tuesday at Bradford Hospital.

Born Jan. 13, 1897, in Little Washington, she was the daughter of William and Alice Henry Freeman. The family came to Sawyer City when Mrs. Stuchel was a young girl, and she attended Sawyer and Bradford schools.

She married Merrell E. Stuchel on October 18, 1920, and he died on March 11, 1946.

Mrs. Stuchel was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Bradford.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Robert Howlett, Mrs. Jean Tsepelis of Bradford, and Mrs. Norman June Larson of Lakeview, N.Y.; a son, William Stuchel of Lancaster, and 8 grandchildren.
