MAXINE COPE
Maxine Cope, 63, of Eden, N.Y., formerly of Seneca died Sunday, May 3, 1987, at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.
She had Resided at 7084 East Lane.
Born October 7, 1923, in Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Ida Henry George.
She married John A. Cope on September 24, 1945. He survives.
Mrs. Cope was a member of the Methodist Church at Hamburg, N.Y.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Jack Cope of Sacramento, Calif., Richard Cope of Tacoma, Wash., James Cope of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Berry Cope, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Dominic (Sandra) Flumer of Oil City; a brother, Raburn George of Ferndale. Also three sisters, Mrs. Jerome (Josephine) Reinsel of Clarion, Geraldine Whitehill of Erie, and Mrs. Leonard (Pauline) Priber of Rialto, Calif., three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday at the W.L. Froehley Funeral Home at 84 Lake St., Hamburg, N.Y.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30am Wednesday, with Rev. Drew Heitzenfater, pastor of Hamburg United Methodist Church, officiating.
Committal services will be held at 3pm Wednesday in the Chapel at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
The memorial Morrison Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
