Thomas Allison Harriger
Thomas Allison Harriger was born at Knoxdale, Jefferson county, on August 17, 1857, and died at his home in Monroe township, Clarion county, Wednesday evening, March 19, 1930, at 7:30 oclock, after an illness of five days, at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 2 days.
He is survived by three brothers: James A., of Rolfe, Iowa; Samuel C., and Jackson H., of Monroe township. Also three sisters, Mrs. Suzanne McMahon, of near Limestone; Mrs. Margaret McElravy and Mrs. Sarah Harriger, of Monroe township. Two sister, Mrs. Ida Miller and Mrs. Lizzie Parsons preceded him in death several years ago.
Funeral services were conducted at the home of Bird McElravy on Saturday afternoon, March 22nd, 1930, at 2 oclock by Rev. H. D. Call, pastor of the Free Methodist church, of Clarion, Pa. Interment was made in the Licking cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: Glade McElravy, Wayne Eshbaugh, John Eshbaugh, Ellis Harriger, Glenn Harriger and Russell Harriger.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Harriger and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McElravy, all of Vandergrift, Pa.
