A. S. Henry Victim of Accident in Oil Field

Ambrose S. Henry, who lived at Bradford, Pa., and who followed work in the oil fields, was killed recently while pumping an oil well. Mr. Henry left his home in the morning as usual, and when he did not return on the evening of the same day, a search was instituted and his mangled body was found in the pump house wedged between the wheel of the engine and the block and was badly crushed. It was with great difficulty that his body was extricated from the machinery. Mr. Henry was born and raised in the Leatherwood section, this county, and was 49 years old at the time of his death. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Templeton Henry. He located in Bradford 22 years ago, where he had lived ever since. He is survived by his wife, Anna, two daughters, Hazel and Mrs. Mabel Wheelock, of Bradford; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Freeman of Bradford and Mrs. Maggie Shirley of Rimersburg. He is also survived by five brothers, George, James, Thomas, and Harry of this county, and Edward of Kane.

Deceased was buried in the Bradford cemetery.
