MRS. CLEARENCE D. MURPHY

Mrs. Geraldine Faye Murphy, 50, of Grant Street, East Brady, died yesterday at Butler County Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness.

Born in Tarentum, Sept. 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Nettie Moore Henry Schmidt.

A registered nurse, she graduated from the Butler County Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1940.

She had been a resident of East Brady for the past 25 years, and before that resided in New Kingston.

She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, East Brady.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence D. Murphy; two sons, C. Leon Murphy of Rimersburg and Richard L. of Clarion; a daughter, Linda Raye Murphy at home; 3 grandchildren; three brothers, John Schmit of Arnold, Russell and Raymond Schmit, both of Kingsington; and several nieces and nephews.

MURPHY- Friends of Mrs. Geraldine Faye Murphy of Grant Street, East Brady, who died Friday, April 4, 1969, will be received at the J.D. Funeral Home, Rimersburg, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm, Monday fron the funeral home, with the Rev. H. G. Summer, pastor of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, East Brady, officiating. Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery. Arrangements by Miller.
