IDA V. GEORGE

New Bethlehelm-- Ida V. George, 88, of CLarion RD 1 died Tuesday, July 16, 1985 at the Anderson House in New Bethlehem.

Born January 13, 1897, in Porter Township, Clarion Co., she was a daughter of the late George and Tillie Cochran Henry.

May 10, 1916, she married Guy M. George, who preceded her in death March 11, 1941.

She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith, having been affiliated with the Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ray George of Ferndale, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Josephine) Reinsel of Clarion, Geraldine Whitehill of Erie, Mrs. John (Maxine) Cope of Eden, N.Y., and Mrs. Leonard (Pauline) Priber of Rialto, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 31great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were held at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion 11am, Saturday, July 20, with Rev. Howard J. Cole, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Limestone, officiating.

Burial followed in the New Rehoboth Cemetery.
