James Elmer Henry
James Elmer Henry, a prominent and most highly esteemed citizen of Monroe township, died Wednesday, March 31, 1926, at 2:00 oclock a. m., from a stroke of apoplexy.
Mr. Henry was a native of Clarion county and was born Oct. 17, 1864, his age being 61 years, 5 months and 14 days.
The deceased is survived by his wife and four sons and three daughters, namely: Charles, of Kingsville; Harvey, of Huey; Morrison, of Leatherwood; Paul, at home; Jennie, of Bradford; Mrs. Herman Fox, of Curllsville, and Ruth, at home. Also by the following brothers and sisters: George, Thomas, Harry, and Edward of Kane; Mrs. Will Freeman, of Bradford, and of Mrs. Benton Shirley, of Rimersburg.
Mr. Henry was a notable strong christian man, and had been a member of the Limestone Baptist church for many years. The funeral took place Friday, April 2nd, in the Limestone Baptist church, and interment was made in Limestone cemetery.
