MRS. MARGARET E. SHIREY

Mrs. Margaret Esther Shirey, widow of the late R. M. Shirey, died suddenly February 9, at her home in Rimersburg. Her health had been poor for the past two years, but her illness was not thought to be serious until a few days before her death.

She was the youngest daughter of Templeton and Mary Bigley Henry, and was born February 20, 1872, in Monroe Township. She was the last daughter of a family of seven girls and six boys. Two brothers survive, Thomas Henry of New Bethlehem RD and Edward Henry of Kane.

On September 22, 1892, she was married to Benton M. Shirey, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Bertha Kuhns of Curllsville, Mrs. Blanche Delp of Rimersburg; Mrs. Leota Kelly, of Rochester; Woods Shirey of Rimersburg RD, and Clifford Shirey of Lewis Run.

Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home until Friday afternoon when private services were conducted by Rev. R. K.
