MRS. EARL BRYANT

 

Mrs. Opal Joan Bryant, 58, of Sligo, died at 4:40 PM Thursday in Clarion Hospital, of a cerebral hemorrhage, after a short illness.

Born Sept 23, 1922, in Monroe Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of Elsie Harriger Henry and the late Alva Henry.

She was a member of Sligo Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are her husband Earl Bryant, whom she married Jan 22, 1946; four sons, Gary Kahle of Berkley, Mich., Philip Bryant of New Bethlehem RD; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Janice) Gourley of New Bethlehem RD, Mrs. David (Cindy) Patton fo Knox, RD, and Annette Bryant of Sligo; 13 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Elsie Harriger Henry of Clarion; four brothers, Lee and Clair Henry, both of Clarion, Glen of Alliance, Ohio, and Reeves of Strattanville RD; three sisters, Mrs. Garnet McHenry of Sligo, Mrs. Charles (Doris) Perry of Erie and Mrs. Craig (Donna) Smith of Clarion.

BRYANT - Friends of Mrs. Opal Joan Bryant of Sligo, who died Thursday, April 16, 1981, will be received at the Cleo Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Saturday and Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Alfred Armstrong, pastor of Sligo Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Reidsburg Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements by Hawk.
