WOODS W. HENRY

Woods W. Henry, 76, of 133 Rich Hill Road, Upper Burrell, died yesterday Sept. 9, 1982, at 9:30am in his residence.

Born Feb. 20, 1906, in Monroe Township, he was a son of the late George and Tillie Cochran Henry.

He was a resident of Upper Burrell 43 years.

A former Alcoa, New Kensington, employee, he retired in 1966 after 26 years of service in the shipping department.

Mr. Henry was a member of the Pine Run United Presbyterian Church, Markle, and the Alcoa 25-Year Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Madaline R. Harriger Henry; a daughter, Mrs. C. Ralph (Norma Jean) Smith of Upper Burrell; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ida George of Clarion.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in the Rusiewiez Funeral Home, 3124 Leechburg Road at conducted tomorrow at 11am by his pastor the Rev. William Sutherland.

Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
