Sequel to Most Ancient Song
The people of Nemed have survived through war and plague on a god-cursed search for a safe land to settle. At last they are led to a remote island where the battered clan is generously given food and shelter. The offer, however, is only a temporary one, for their benefactor tells the Nemedians that in order to stay in this lovely new land, they must seek permission of the elusive Queen Danu, who resides on another isle far from their resting place. Desperate for a home, the Nemedians set out on a perilous quest through an enchanted archipelago to find this mysterious and powerful matriarch. Facing her, they are told, is to risk her formidable wrath, but defying the dangers that await them on their trek may finish them before their destination.
