Paul and Mary in Denver
A Weekend in the Mountains and the Snow
2.27.2002 - 3.4.2002

Union Station in downtown Denver

Mary enjoys some hot chocolate while we wait
for the Ski Train - at 6 a.m.!

All Aboard! The Ski Train is a two hour trip from Denver to Winter Park that includes travel through more than 30 tunnels.

Lots of twists and turns take you up more then 1,000 feet to Winter Park, the city of Denver's most famous ski and recreation area.

Although it was snowy and overcast, we still enjoyed great views from the top of Winter Park mountains.

Mary looks cool on our snowmobile! Right, our tour guide Doug (in back) helped us enjoy a great 2 hour tour of the mountains on snowmobiles.
We found out after we were on our way home that Doug is a native Hoosier from Spencer, IN. We enjoyed that irony!

The Trailblazer offices (above left) who provided our snowmobile tour. Great job, guys!
We also took a nice trip up the mountain in a Snow Cat (above right).

Lots of people enjoying the cold weather and snow atop Winter Park.

Winter Park welcomes more than 1 million skiers each season.

PK on top of the world!
