What is a Certified Master Locksmith
anyway?
Masterkeying
Simply put, masterkeying is allowing two different and distinct keys
to operate one lock. Masterkeying is used to regulate access to certain
areas while having one key that accesses all areas. Masterkeying can be
done anywhere there are compatable locks.
Lockset Installation
If it locks we install it. Deadbolts, knob locks, leversets, handicap
locks, panic hardware, fire exit devices, magnetic locks, electric deadbolts,
and cabinet locks just to name a few.
When shopping for a home safe make sure you get one with a UL burglary
rating and a fire rating. Also, if it weighs less than 500 pounds make
sure it is securely bolted to the floor. Whether you already have a safe
or your shopping for a new one I highly recommend you get an electronic
lock they are at least one hundred times easier to use than the mechanical
ones and they are even more secure.
Safe Deposit Locks
We service all makes of safe deposit locks. This includes opening boxes,
making keys for existing locks, rekeying locks to your guard key, as well
as duplicating those hard to find keys.
Door Closers
You know, those funny looking boxes you see above doors with the double
jointed arm. We service and install those also. If you door is slamming
or if you find drops of oil on the threshold or header it's time to replace
your closer.
Office Furniture Locks
This covers a large area, from duplicating desk keys to repairing fire
proof file cabinets. Did you know that keys can be make to most desk and
file cabinet from the number stamped on the face of the lock. Remember
this the next time you want to secure something at the office.
Antique Locks
Yes, we have "skeleton keys". And not only do we make keys for those
old locks we also buy them.
