Divination

One of the most powerful tools at the disposal of a witch or magician is Divination. Divination is a branch of magick which deals with predicting the most likely outcome of events if a series of conditions do not change or how the outcome will be effected if certain things happen. Divination allows a witch to decide if a certain action will have the desired results or if negative things will happen. In addition, divination can also be a guide to better understanding yourself, the world abut you and the univeserse.

During the ages, many forms of divination have been developed

  • Tarot
  • Ouija
  • Tea Leaf Reading
  • Palmistry
  • Entrail reading (not actually performed in this class)
  • I-Ching
  • Runes
  • Ink Blots
  • Stones
  • Phrenology
  • Crystal Gazing
  • Fire Gazing
  • Water Gazing
  • Scrying
  • Mirror Gazing The list of different techniques goes on and on. This lesson coveres the different types of divination and several are looked at in detail (Ouija, Tea Leaf Reading, Runes, Fire Gazing, Water Gazing, Tarot). Due to the importance of some of these techniques, they have an entire class devoted to them later on in the course.

    As with Symbology, Divination is a two meeting lesson (lesson 10 & 11). The major arcana for these lessons are Adjustment (lesson 10) and The Hermit (lesson 11).
