Tarot
For nearly a year, the student has been studying the major arcana. With only two cards left (The Aeon and The Universe) it is time to explore in full detail the subtle meaning associated with the tarot.
The tarot is an ancient means of divination. A deck of 78 cards, made up of 22 trumps and four suits of 14 cards, provides the enlightened with the means to look into the past, present and future of a person or an event. The major aracana represent very powerful forces at work and as such are studied in detail. The minor arcana (four suits of 14) are also important but carry different meanings. In addition, information from another lesson is put to practical use, Numerology.
During this lesson, the major and minor arcana are discussed, the various suits and the meaning of each minor arcana. The suit description combined with the numerical value on the card provide a quick method for interpreting each card. In addition, various types of spreads are examined and the particular uses of each spread are discussed.
The major arcana studied this lesson is The Aeon.
