Dave Olsen Singin' & Guitarin'
Dave
Olsen has been a regular on the Atlanta Rock-A-Billy scene for a
while. He helped found The Continentals several years ago. After
leaving in early '96, Dave hooked up with Jay that summer. Though
it sounds like some made-up record company promo piece, Dave discovered
his love for Rock-A-Billy after finding a trunk-full of his dad's
old records. While he didn't throw away his KISS records, it did
have quite an impact on his guitar playing during those formative
years! While regarded as one of the city's finest guitarist, Dave's
original compositions and singing carry as much of his individual
style as his playing.

Jay
Murphree Singin'
& Bassin'
Jay
discovered his attraction to rock-a-billy and roots-rock by backtracking
the influences of some of his musical heroes. NRBQ, Dave Edmunds,
Nick Lowe and others were a starting point that lead back to older
icons like Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson and Buck Owens. Sharing the
other half of PLF's songwriting and singing duties, Jay's style
balances out Dave's Carl Perkins/Eddie Cochran leanings to produce
a sound not quite like any other band.

Kat Cunningham Drummin' and Singin'
Kat
beats the drums pretty good for a girl! After spending quite a length
of time beatin' 'em for The Vidalias, Kat decided if you're gonna
be stuck in a van with a bunch of stinky men, it's better to be
stuck with two of 'em than four. Kat now aspires to one day have
her own picture without having to share with Jay and Dave ( or,
at least, be in color. )
