5th Annual Music Midtown Festival To Be Held April 30 - May 2

Promoter's Mistake Results In Booking PLF For Fest

Atlanta- Confusing local rockabilly group PLF for local rap sensations TLC, bookers of this year's Music Midtown Festival now have to live with their snafu. In an out of court settlement, PLF has been allowed to keep the engagement if they will rap at least half of their show.

In preparation for the event, the band is currently studying with retired members of the Sugar Hill Gang. Additionally, band members are now answering exclusively to the following; David Olsen: Big Daddy O, Jay Murphree: LL Fool J, Kat Cunningham: Queen Kit-Kat.

Fools Scheduled To Return To The Studio In Spring

Music Fans Warned: New CD Due This Summer

Atlanta- Unable to retire as a result of sales of the first CD "Play The Fools", Poor Little Fools plan to begin recording a follow-up in March. "I had fully expected to have millions in the bank and at least a $1000-a-day drug habit by now" confesses Fool David Olsen, "but I'm still broke and can't even afford a tube of airplane glue." Fellow Fools Jay Murphree and Kat Cunningham could not be reached for comment as their phones have been disconnected and it is believed Murphree is now homeless.

The new disc should be in stores by mid-summer. Donations may be sent to PO Box 660171, Atlanta, GA 30366.

Former PLF Drummer Prospers After Leaving Band

"Poor Little whats...?" Asks Ex-beat Keeper For Trio

Paris- From his chalet high in the Alps, Kevin Leahy strains hard to remember his former band. "Uhhh.., what kind of music did we play?" he asks, obviously only half paying attention to the question. Following an amicable split with the band after recording their debut CD, Leahy began keeping time for longtime Atlanta acoustic scenester Shawn Mullins. Since then he has: played on Mullins' #1hit "Rockabye", appeared with him on the Grammys, Letterman, Leno and Rosie O'Donald as well as toured the world and amassed a fortune estimated to be in the billions, if not trillions.

Leahy's sudden fame and rock & roll lifestyle seem to have clouded his memory. "Oh yeah, wasn't that a coupla chicks with a huge chip on their shoulder?" he asks , apparently confusing former bandmates Olsen and Murphree for the Indigo Girls.

Trivia buffs may recall former drummers Bill Gates and Leonardo Decaprio went on to find similar success after leaving the band. Again, donations may be sent to PO Box 660171, Atlanta, GA 30366.
