    Technical Advisor, MIS -- Senior UNIX Administrator. Maintain existing network of UNIX and Windows machines. Responsible for making all Solaris servers and clients Y2k compliant by 12/31/1998. Monitored servers scheduled for retirement to insure minimal customer impact. Install 17 new Ultra 60 workstations. Work with other support organizations in Cummins to provide services to 100 Pro/E Designers and Drafters.

    Technical Advisor, MIS -- Team Lead/Proactive Support. Lead a team of engineers to provide support tools for an MIS organization supporting 2000 user desktops and 200 Unix workstations & servers. The Proactive Team is responsible for making the support organization more effective by any means possible. Projects completed include: Web site for customer suggestions, account management system for Unix and NT, Scripts to automate conversion of NT users from one domain to another, Lotus Notes database for tracking PC purchase requests.

Worked with team of people with variety of skills to support network of 60 Sun workstations, 100 X-terminals and 300 PC's used by software development organization. Responsible for daily administration of workstations, disk space, backup, and account management. Lead engineer for resolution of network problems and networking issues. Responsible for network planning and implementation.

    Principle Engineer -- Test System Developer. Designed and delivered a computer controlled system for simulating vehicle and engine for use in control module development. Wrote specifications, designed hardware, purchased components, wrote software, managed team to manufacture complete systems. Systems used PC with National Instruments data acquisition cards, LabVIEW development environment, and some customized hardware.
