the Nation of Brazil to the new Medical College founded by medal recipient Wallace Carvalho. This patent is for a 'Non Surgical Heart Pacemaker'
US Patent 4,723,536, Rauscher et al. titled: "External Magnetic Field Impulse Pacemaker Non-Invasive Method & Apparatus for Modulating Brain Through an
External Magnetic Field to Pace the Heart & Reduce Pain".
It is anticipated that this type of non-invasive pacemaker will save billions of dollars in medical costs by changing from the existing more primitive
technology currrently used, and Dramatically increase the quality and length of the cardiac patients life.
