I started with the idea that I'd do a quilt with appliqueed cats sitting tidily in their frames. Then I looked at the cats I knew personally, and said, "Nah!" I'm not generally given to naming quilt designs, but this one named itself "A Chaos of Cats". Machine pieced, hand appliqued and quilted. Jonathan drew the cat silhouettes for me. The rest, I made up as I went along!
