As you may have noticed, this is no longer just the Lazy Surfers List.

The whole idea has gotten stale for me. Not to mention that there are plenty of other (better) lists of useful URLs out there (Yahoo and Lycos being chief among them.).

I had an idea to do a weekly e-zine type thing that would reflect current events in the world, especially the web, and would contain the biting sarcasm that I am infamous for. Alas, suck. is already doing that, daily no less, and doing it better than I could, because of a seemingly inexhaustable amount of spare time (much like Sienfeld).

So that leaves me without even a pretense of content here. Hence the title. I'm sure there are other equally barren sites on the web, but that doesn't make me feel any better about it. I've got a few ideas, but I'm not so sure about what I'm going to do yet. I'm open to ideas, so keep those cards and letters coming.

I am working on my company's pages on my own time. They are going to be very cool. Some of the best stuff on the web. So that's where most of my creative energy is going for the time being.

The rest of my creative energy is being devoted to my current project at work. The project is cool (the content is cool, anyway), but I'm so tired of asking myself, "What would Umang do?" It's another sucky SQLWindows project, after I was promised that the last sucky SQLWindows project (Which I did for the good of the company) would be my last. Sigh. Maybe I'll get on one of the other projects around the house. Maybe I'll just get a better job. Any of you know anyone looking for a Visual Basic Master and SQLWindows Journeyman? I'm probably cheaper than you might think. However, I do not own a suit, and I work my own hours, so persons looking for corporate drones should look elsewhere.

Netrek95

Well, Netrek95 is dead. Jonathan Shekter has brought out COW for Windows. The Client of Win has got all the features I really wanted in a client (including sound!), so I don't really see the point in continuing the charade that I am ever going to write one myself. I'd still like to write one, I think it would be very educational, but doubt that I will ever make the time.

Surprise, surprise! I actually got drafted for the Fall Draft League. Our team doesn't have a name yet. Maybe that's the name "Team WIth No Kname Yet" (Team TWINKY). At any rate, I'll probably be the designated scout bomber, and SC Runner-Scum on the team. While I don't relish an existance of running away and sneaking around, I am quite proficient at it. Besides which, my lag is probably going to be the worst on the team, so it's probably for the best.
