Author's Note: I just wanted to point out that I really don’t
agree with Mr. Randy Weaver’s politics or religion. I do not subscribe to the
White Power philosophy. I
do not believe that white people are inherently superior to persons with other skin colors. I do not
believe that the Jew is using the Black to oppress honest, hardworking white people. I do not
think that laws written by men several thousand years ago were inspired by God, or even if they were,
that God intended the edicts of that time to apply when technology bypassed the need for them.

Now, I suppose that any of the 7 people who read this may take offense at what I’ve stated here,
and if so, you have my permission to send those flames straight to /dev/null. These are my
opinions, just as Randy Weaver’s are his. I just wanted to set the record straight, so that no one got
the idea that I was a bigot or a racist just because I happen to support Randy Weaver. In the words of
Evelyn Beatrice Hall, paraphrasing Voltaire:
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

America Rev.4
This week marks the debut of a miniseries on CBS that purports to tell the true story of what happened at
Ruby Ridge, and why you should care. Now, you may be thinking, "Wait, I don’t care."
Well, be that as it may, you should. Trust me.

Let’s get one thing straight: Randy Weaver is a racist nutter. While this may be a prejudicial
characterization, it is no doubt the truth. He and his whole family moved out into the mountains of
Idaho to praise the Lord, pass the ammunition,
and wait for the apocalypse to roll up on their door step. While this might not be a bad plan (Hell, I’d
do it myself if I had any money), it does tend to attract the wrong kind of attention from the wrong
kind of people.

In Weaver’s case, it attracted a couple of Federal agents who entrapped him with a minor weapons charge.
The judge involved in the case screwed up the explanation he gave of the charges and the bond procedure,
leading Weaver to believe that if he was convicted, he would lose his land. Hence, Weaver resolved to go
up to his cabin and never come down.

As the trial date came and went, a fugitive warrant was issued for Weaver. In due course, the
U.S. Marshals got tired of waiting for Weaver to come down,
and sent a reconnaissance team up the mountain to see what they could see. Naturally, the dogs picked up
on their presence and alerted the occupants of the cabin.

What happens next is a subject of speculation. Much like the
Kennedy assassination, I don’t believe we
will ever know with certainty what really occurred at Ruby Ridge. This appears to be the most likely
sequence of events:

One of the dogs surprised a Marshal, who shot the dog. Weaver’s fourteen year old son, Sammy, coming
upon his dead dog, saw only the
military style uniform
and the mask covering the face of the person with the smoking gun. Shots were exchanged (I’m fairly sure
that the Marshals fired first, but again, I can’t say for sure, as I wasn’t there), and in the end,
Sammy Weaver was shot in the back and killed, while his companion, Kevin Harris, mortally wounded a
Marshal.

Now branded "cop killers", the Weavers took their son’s body back to the cabin, and went to ground.
Teams of snipers were deployed around the Weaver
residence, and given orders to "shoot on sight any armed adult outside the cabin." Eventually, Weaver
had to leave the cabin for some reason, and was shot and wounded. His wife, Vicki, standing in the
doorway and holding a ten month old baby, was shot in the head and killed. Kevin Harris was also
seriously wounded at this time.

Weaver and his daughter remained holed up inside the cabin for 10 days before surrendering to
authorities. At the subsequent trial both Weaver and Harris were acquitted on all charges, save for
Weaver’s failure to appear in court.

The best part of this story only occurred recently: In march, five deputy marshals were given the U.S.
Marshal’s highest comendation for valor for actions at Ruby Ridge.

The point of all this it to illustrate that, much as I despise his agenda, Randy Weaver was the victim
here, not the criminal. Since when do the police in this country dress like
green berets on a super
secret mission? Since when is it ok for our government to infiltrate political organizations and spy on
law-abiding citizens? Since when does the United States allow tanks to be deployed against it’s
citizens, criminals or not? Perhaps Weaver and his ilk have a point.

I don’t agree with the politics of Randy Weaver. I don’t agree with the politics of most of the militia
movement for that matter. The only thing that scares me more than the tyrannical leanings of the current
government are the assuredly worse tyrannical leanings of the various militia groups. While I am white
(I prefer Celtic-American), I am probably not what these folks would call
Christian (I was raised Catholic).

However, like Randy Weaver and the bulk of the militia movement, I believe that the federal government
has for quite some time been overstepping it’s bounds, and has run roughshod over the
Constitution. Now,
after years of governmental abuse and corruption, the scent of rebellion is in the air. A single spark
may set off a powder keg that no one is prepared to deal with.

The Third American Revolution will be fought over that old chestnut,
States Rights, with a dash of
"religious freedom" thrown in for good measure. This means the religious freedom of them, not
you. If you are Hindu or Catholic or Buddhist or Moslem or Pagan or Jewish or even a Hare Krishna, take
a little free advice from your Uncle Preston: Keep your powder dry.

Take this to the bank: If America Rev.3 comes to pass, America Rev.4 will follow close behind. The
Fourth American Revolution will be fought to end the reign of the Third. Ironically, only then will one
dream come true.
Jew and Gentile; Black and White; Christian and Pagan;
all traditional enemies, and yet all will be forced into common cause against the hate-mongering,
duplicitous thought control of the theocracy of the militia.

The militia movement is a necessary
evil. Nothing scares a tyrant more than a well armed and reasonably
well trained citizenry. I would ask that the militia movement reread the writings of our founding
fathers though. I’m sure that on close examination, they will realize that the founders did not intend
for America to become a police-state theocracy, tolerating no one who does not fit into their
interpretation of what God wants of his creations.

Even if they do not come to this conculsion, I have, and will stand against them if and when.

Next Time: Why the constitution isn’t what you think it is.
