Well the season is over, and, I have to admit, I'm sorry to see it go.
SchmackFoo is one of the great teams of all time, and has earned it's place
in Netrek legend the hard way. The only thing that would have really topped
off the season for me is if we could have taken on DFWI and beaten them. A
pipe dream, sure, but Timmy put this team down, and we proved him wrong.
He said we didn't have a chance at winning, let alone the title. I'd just
like a chance to prove how wrong he was in the most direct manner possible.
This page will remain here for quite some time. I believe that Dave will also
mirror it, so that, if it ever has to come down for whatever reason, it will
still be around for us, and the Netrek community.

§ This game was forfited by our opponent. Here's what Dave had to say:
"Unfortunately, Sven couldn't field a full team of 8, and our team
decided that the subs they fielded weren't acceptable (Dan andRick -- they rewl).
Surprisingly Sven decided to forfeit the game instead of grabbing some more reasonable
subs, thereby giving usthe 5-0 record."
At this point I would like to state that personally I am very disappointed that we
allowed Sven's team to forfeit, as we beat them anyway even with their henious subs.
I would like the record to reflect that I was opposed to accepting their forfeit and
wanted us to play on, regardless of their subs.
