JOHN HENDERSHOT, Ph.D.,
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
PY4314

I've had the honor and privilege of doing individual, marital, and family psychotherapy with a broad diversity of people for about three decades.  I strive to be flexible in utilizing an approach that works best for each individual and family, rather than using a "One size fits all" method.

I provide psychotherapy for individuals experiencing depression, grief, anxiety, fear, stress, low self-esteem, and anger.  Individual therapy can help you better understand and change the negative beliefs and thinking patterns that contribute to these symptoms.
Marital and family therapy can help you recognize and change negative thinking and behavior patterns that undermine the quality of your family relationships.  Family therapy can also help you improve your parenting skills in order to facilitate the development of your child into a responsible, respectful, self-respecting adult.
