This website is dedicated to my goal of rebuilding this 1976 CJ5 Jeep so that I can be seventeen again.
I bought the Jeep in 1997 as a future project for when I had both the time and money to work on it. A few weeks later in 2003 I began the project. The previous owner had started the rebuild but did not get further than disassembling the engine. I bought it "as is" and have attempted to complete the work. This website is a documentary of my project and repeated failures.
