The Depot Museum

On April 21, 2001, the new Kennesaw Depot Museum was opened.  The museum is focused on the history of the City of Kennesaw, and features exhibits, artifacts (including from the 1997/98 Lacy Hotel dig), and murals.  Kennesaw Museum Director Jeff Drobney spearheaded the creation of the Depot Museum.  Much of the content is from the booklets Kennesaw in the 19th Century and Kennesaw in the 20th Century by Kennesaw Historical Society President Robert Jones.  The Depot Museum will be open during Kennesaw Civil War Museum hours, and is free to the public.
