Builder Lite
Overview

Builder was an extremely powerful batch file language for DOS. Most of the power of Builder was incorporated into a product called Builder Lite. My book by the same name was a complete tutorial on how to write programs in the Builder Lite language.

The book starts out assuming you know how to write simple batch files but have never used Builder Lite before. By the time the book is finished, you can write some of the most powerful batch files every written.

Unfortunately, hyperkinetics is bankrupt and Builder is no longer available. To make matters worse, McGraw-Hill is no longer printing my Builder Lite book. However, if you can find one somewhere, the Builder Lite programming language is fantastic. I still use it occasionally with Windows 95/98 and it still works great!
