Once a week for 6 weeks, two hours each
session, or condensed weekend version of 6 week class. First hour is
lecture. Topics include, how to turn your walk into a workout, your
proper walking pace, why diets don't work, preventing injuries, and choosing
the right walking shoe. The second part of class
includes learning a new racewalking technique each week, racewalk practice,
and walking stretches.
