R&R Electronics is continually updating and upgrading the firmware (microcode loaded into E/EPROM) and support software (compiler, loader, analog editor, etc.) to maintain compatibility with the latest PCs and peripherals and expand the capabilities of the EPIC system.
We strongly recommend updating to the latest release versions of the firmware and support software.

If you own an EPIC Rev-D with optional EEPROM you can download the latest firmware upgrade and install it yourself -- otherwise please contact R&R Electronics to obtain a new EPROM for your EPIC.
You can identify your EPIC's hardware and firmware revision by running DUMPEPIC /M from your EPIC directory.
Software versions are displayed in the program banner when you execute the individual programs, or at the top of the screen while the program is running.
All binary files are compressed using PKZIP 2.04G. You can find more information on this excellent program at the official PKWARE web site.
