New Ecards
I just had a couple of new images added to ecards. Send a postcard with one of my photos!
Forbes list
The Forbes list of billionaires just came out. And, once again, I didn't make the cut. Maybe next year.
CB
I went to Starbucks the last 2 days, but CB wasn't there. I never know if she's gone for good, or maybe her schedule has just changed. Playboy just announced that they're doing a "women of Starbucks" issue. I bet CB gets a call.

CNN.com - Report: SUVs pose danger to cars - Feb. 26, 2003
Aside from being dangerous as hell, they're also gas-guzzling energy wasters. Why would anybody drive an SUV? I don't get it. There are spacious cars (mini-vans, for instance) that are a better option. If you're not doing any off-roading, you don't need a fukn SUV. There's a woman who parks her giant SUV on my street everyday. She's a HAIRDRESSER. She drives her bigass Explorer to the salon and PARKS it there all day. WTF?!

Smoke.
A friend of mine said something to me recently that I've been thinking about a lot lately. They said they told somebody that I "hate smokers." I didn't think much of it when they first mentioned it. But, the more I replayed it in my head... the more I felt like I should clarify my position on this.
I don't hate smokers. It's more fair to say that I hate smoking. But, I also hate inconsiderate behavior. [littering, smoking around non-smokers, etc.] Even the most considerate smoker, ......one who doesn't litter their butts or other smoking trash; one who only smokes in private or around other smokers;..... may still be partly responsible for causing healthcare and insurance rates to rise. When uninsured smokers end up in hospitals due to smoking-related health problems, my tax dollars end up paying for their care. The funny thing is that I'm paying more for this type of healthcare than I'm paying for my own right now. I've chosen not to get health insurance because it's an expense I don't want. But, I'm still paying taxes to take care of others without insurance. Of course, if I ever got sick, I'd pay my own way. I'd dig out my savings account and max out my credit cards if that's what it takes.

SNL
Chris Parnell has to be the un-funniest person on tv today. How the hell did this guy get onto Saturday night live? He's the best thing to happen to snl since Tim,.. uh.... what the hell was that Tim guy's last name. You know.. the one who did "The Ladies Man." That was his only funny character. And Chris Parnell has none.
anybody catch foo fighters last night? I missed it. But, I'm guessing they rocked.

SeattleSucks.com
At first, it sounds like this is a site for Seattle bashing. But, really it's just a way to bash the stupid people who run the city. And.. various other stupid Seattlites.
I've been looking for a good Seattle message board for a while. This might be a good one.

random stuff:
I just got back from a long weekend at the beach. Our 5th annual Pawley's Island weekend. (this year, we celebrated it at Isle of Palms). It was a lot of fun. But, it's always good to get home. This year was very different, since there are a couple of new offspring; and another of the couples is having a baby in March. I'm not sure if I'll go next year. It's really expensive, first of all. And, it can be pretty lonesome for me since all of the others are either married, or have brought their significant others.

Organ donation.
The story about the teenager who got the wrong organ transplant reminds me to mention this: Are you a registered organ donor? If so, Great! If not, why not? All you have to do is sign the back of your driver's license. You'll be a hero! And, you don't need those organs anymore after you're gone!

I have a show coming up in March. The northwest worklofts show. March 6th and 7th. at Denny and Western Ave, in Seattle.

Jacko.
Holy shit - did anybody catch the Michael Jackson interview? What a freak. It's terrifying that this guy is allowed to even reproduce, much less have children stay overnight at his house. At one point, he gets shaky and freaks out while trying to feed his baby (the freakishly named sequel: Prince Michael Jackson, Part 2). I hate to see what happens when the kids get upset or when they go thru the teenage years. Michael's little happy neverland fantasy is going to explode in a million pieces.

Happy Candlemas Day!
It's groundhog day. And, the little rat predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Personally, I prefer to listen to Gen. Lee's prediction. I got to see "Beau" in person a few years ago. It was pretty exciting. But, one day maybe I'll make it to Punxatawney.
I thought the movie "Groundhog Day" would be on TV today. But, I can't find it in the listings. If you've never seen it before, check it out. It's worth renting. I could watch it again and again and again and again......

i love tv.
Why does a show like E.R. turn up in syndication? I mean,.. I can understand sitting down to watch an old Seinfeld or Simspons episode. Each one is still hilarious.. and stands on its own. But, E.R. is a serial! It's not like you're going to plan your day to catch the 4pm showing of E.R. (from 1998) on a Saturday. It's something you probably encounter while channel surfing. Then!... let's say you're a fan of the show. If you stop to watch it, there's a good chance you've seen it already. So, why watch it again? You already know what happens. And, if it's an episode that you missed,.. then again, you already know how things turned out. So, what's the point? Let's say you're not a regular viewer though. In that case, you'll be totally lost because you won't have seen the prior episode. And, you won't get to see the following episode. So, it won't make sense out of context!
I should say,.. that I'm a fan of E.R. But, I wouldn't stop to watch an old episode from the Clooney days. E.R. is the kind of show you need to watch in order. Or else, why bother.
Speaking of tv shows, there's a new animated series on MTV called Clone High. Check it out! Great characters; good writing. Very funny.
