All Purpose Prayer Tool March 2010

I. We enter into Your courts, Lord, with thanksgiving and praise (Psalm 100:4)

Even if you don't feel like it, begin thanking the Lord, but the Lord has respect to this, and offering sacrificial thanks prepares the way ( Psalms 50:23)..

I thank you for everything you have given us, Lord. I thank you that you have created us, and created us for good. I thank you that you had a plan to redeem us, when mad and the enemy messed things up. I thank you that you have a plan for good for each one of us, for me and for each of my children (Jeremiah 29.11).

I praise you that you are good and your mercy endures for ever (Psalm 100:5). I thank you that you are good and have good intentions toward us. I thank you that you reached out your hand toward us. I thank you that you sent Jesus to us. I thank you that you sent the Holy Spirit to us. I thank you that you teach, and guide, and speak to us. I thank you that you will bring us back to you; that I will live with you for eternity (2 Corinthians 5:6). I thank you Lord.

II. Rehearse the promises of God, for God has encouraged us to remind Him of his great promises (Hebrews11:33, 2 Peter 1:4), not because He has forgotten as if God forget, but because it does us good to rehearse them and so stir up our faith (2 Peter 1:3, Jude 21).

I thank you God, that you promised great shalom, total well-being to all my children ( Isaiah 54:13).

I thank you God, that you promised that I and my children will increase (Psalms 115:14)

I thank you God, that you have promised to crown me with love and compassion (Psalm 103:4)

I thank you God, that you surround me with songs of deliverance (Psalm 32:7).

I thank you God, that you in the day of trouble you hide me in your tabernacle (Psalm 27:4&5)

I thank you God, that no weapon formed against me shall prevail (Isaiah 54:17).

I thank you God, that watch over me and that nothing can take me or my children out of your hand (John10:29).

I receive these promises now. I receive them for my children. I claim them, I take them, and I thank You for them.

III. I thank you God, that you promised to hear and answer our prayers, for Jesus said whatever we asked, in His Name, believing, and abiding in Him, you would do( John 15).

So now, I ask :_______________________________________

I thank you for this. I thank you for your great Word, your great promises, and for your gauranteeship (John 16:23-26) .

I thank you for all the other times you have heard and answered prayer. (Mention those times to God, one by one as specifically as you can.) Thank you God, that this time, too, you will answer. Help me be strong in faith, relying on your faithfulness.

IV. Now Lord, I forgive everybody everything, as an act of will (Mark11:22-26). For these people now who hurt me, I pray that you bless them, turn them around, and make it right, and so I leave it in your hands. I let it go and give it to you.

If there is anything in my life that can be cleaned out or fixed up so that we, You and I, Lord, may be closer, may it be so. I give my life to you and take your life. May my children also come to this decision on his/her/their own. In the meantime, I ask you to protect them, bless them, teach them. Let them taste how sweet you are (Psalm 34:8). Let them see how beautiful you are (Isaiah 52:7).

Thank you Lord, that you love them more than even I could (Ephesians 3:15, 19, I John 4:16).

Lord, help me know your love for myself also. Increase my capacity to feel Your love. Enlarge my understanding (Ephesians 3:14-19) .

Lord, I love you. You are worthy. You are glorious. You are wonderful. I praise you; I thank You.

In the mighty, holy, and wonderful Name of Jesus. Amen.

V. Now go, relying on the Lord, that He heard you. Do not speak contrary to how you have prayed. Keep thanking the Lord. Keep believing. Keep waiting for your answer to come. Prepare in the natural in order to receive from the spiritual. Continue to sow your crop while praying for rain and trusting in growth. Do your part to harvest, too. And share when you get it.

God wants total well-being for all children.
